Lois Irene (Bolton) Scheuermann, 94, of Quincy, IL passed away on March 23, 2025, at Good Samaritan Home in Quincy. Lois was born on November 10, 1930, in Hamilton, IL and is the daughter of Samuel and Genevieve (Dighton) Bolton. Lois attended Hamilton High School and graduated in 1948. She later married and lived on a farm near Tioga, IL before moving to Quincy in 1977.
Lois worked for 22 years in the billing department at Blessing Hospital before retiring in 1995. Lois was a member of the Golden's Point Christian Church growing up and later became a member of Faith Journey Church when she moved to Quincy. She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, gardening and loved spending time with family. The three most important things to Lois; faith, family, and hard work. One of her greatest lessons to her family was to always help and take care of family as they are the most important things in this life and she will be missed dearly by her children and grandchildren.
