Cheryl Joy Huls, 80, of Carthage, Illinois, entered into eternal rest early in the morning of Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Carthage.Cheryl was born Aug. 9, 1944, in Rockford, Illinois, to Lloyd and Betty (Denning) Van Hove.She was united in marriage with Jimmy G. Huls on Aug. 2, 1964, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Carthage.Cheryl always had a love of horses and being outdoors. She went to beauty school after high school and practiced as a beautician. Cheryl loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by many.She is survived by her grandson Justin Huls of Carthage; Son Mike (Shelly) Huls of Augusta, Illinois; granddaughter Kacy (Jose) Ramirez of Clearwater, Kansas; sisters Karen Ancelet of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Terry (Jim) Goff of Biggsville Illinois; daughter-in-law Esta Huls; and many other cousins and relatives.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Betty Van Hove; husband Jimmy Huls; sons Jeff Huls and Jamie Huls; brother Randy Van Hove; and b
