Delbert Warren Custer, 86, of Hamilton, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at River Hills Village in Keokuk.He was born Aug. 30, 1938, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Warren Dewey and Anna El Dora Huffman Custer.Delbert graduated from Keokuk High School.On Jan. 16, 1956, Delbert was united in marriage with Barbara Kunkel in Quincy, Illinois. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2020.Delbert had been employed by Hubinger/Roquette in Keokuk for over 30 years, until his retirement.Delbert was a talented woodworker and enjoyed spending time working on various projects. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.He is survived by his son Danny Custer (Kristi) of Hamilton; one grandson Drake Custer (Ashley) of Keokuk; and two great-grandsons, Drayton and Dominic. He is also survived by two sisters, Della Campbell of Keokuk and Delores Rossi of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents; one son Darin Custer; one g
