Willard Franklin Rampley, 86, of Basco, Illinois, passed away at 10:19 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, in his home.Willard was born June 28, 1937, in Breckenridge, Illinois. He was the son of Franklin and Edith (Kammerer) Rampley. He started driving a truck for family and then went on to start his own trucking business, and finally retired at the age of 80.On Oct. 4, 1955, Willard was united in marriage with Darlos Plowman. Willard spent many years working on the farm, meanwhile running the trucking business, and was very devoted man to his family.Willard is survived by his three children: Mitch Rampley of Basco, Missy (Davey) Huls, of Basco, and Scott (Jodi) Rampley of Basco; his grandchildren Amy (Steve) Crawford, Christopher (Trussie) Rampley, Cody (Maddie) Huls, Wyatt (Taylor) Huls, Chase Kirchner, Mariasa ( Alan) Woods, Madison Huls, and Abby Rampley. Also many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Lance and Valeata Monroe.He was preceded in death by his wife Darlos (Plowman)
