Donald Roger "Red" Driskell, 86, of Blandinsville, Ill., passed away at 7:10 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at The LaMoine Assisted Living in Macomb.Red was born Nov. 12, 1937, in Macomb, the son of Wendell and Helen (Brown) Driskell. On April 15, 1960, he married Wanda Lee Woodside in Blandinsville. She preceded him in death July 19, 2012.Red was a 1955 graduate of Northwestern High School. Following high school he worked for a short time in maintenance for the State of Illinois. He spent most of his life working for Hofmeister Construction in Blandinsville. He enjoyed carpentry work, playing cards, golfing, more golfing, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and traveling with his wife in their retirement.He was a member of the Blandinsville Hire Fire Department, Blandinsville Christian Church and Twin Oaks Golf & County Club in Blandinsville.Survivors include two sons: Roger (Lynn) Driskell of Springfield and Ray (Ann) Driskell of Carthage, six grandchildren: Rachel So
